My name is Dana Mondragon and I am a graphic designer, illustrator, and an infographic enthusiast based in Phoenix, Arizona. My journey has been a constant exploration of what I wanted to be when I grew up but I was always fueled by a passion for learning, research, and the power of visuals. My love for visual design began as a child; visuals were how I communicated because of a speech impediment that sometimes limited my verbal communication. As I grew older, I was able to resolve my speech issues. At the same time, my curiosity about visual communication steadily grew into an education path in graphic design. During my time as a student, I learned that I love combining my ability to research and interpret data into infographics that don’t just share data, but tell emotive stories at a glance that makes the reader want to pause, read more, and find delight in the power of visual learning.
